At Rise Up Tattoo, Piercing & SMP Studio, we believe in the power of art to change lives. We know that pursuing a career in the arts or business requires dedication, grit, and financial support. That is why we are proud to partner with the community to offer financial assistance to students at Modesto Junior College.
About the Scholarship
The Rise Up Arts & Entrepreneurship Scholarship provides a $300 grant to a student currently enrolled at MJC who demonstrates a passion for creative arts, business management, or graphic design.
As a local business located in Modesto, we are committed to giving back to the Central Valley community that has supported us.
Bonus Opportunity: The "Rise Up" Artist Showcase
At Rise Up Tattoo, we believe art is meant to be seen. We know how hard it can be for emerging artists in the Central Valley to find gallery space or get eyes on their work.
In addition to the financial award, the scholarship recipient (and select finalists) will have the exclusive opportunity to have their winning portfolio pieces featured on the "Community Art Wall" inside our busy Modesto tattoo studio.
- Get Exposure: Your work will be viewed by hundreds of local clients, collectors, and fellow artists who visit our Oakdale Road location every month.
